The House of mercy within the Holy Trinity cloister of Mercy in the settlement of Saraktash asks you to give us any possible support. To provide care and shelter for the orphans and old people in need a House of mercy was opened at the Cloister in 1991. 80 persons live now here, 40 of them being lonely aged people. Moreover, since 1992 the family of the prior of the Holy Trinity cloister of mercy archpriest Nikolay Stremsky has been taking on for bringing up orphans from orphanages in the whole of Russia. Now the family raises and educates more than 70 kids! To provide general schooling an orthodox gymnasia within the cloister was opened, as well as a spiritual school providing education for 130 children. With proper financial possibilities the family of the archpriest Nikolay Stremsky could take care of a few dozens of orphans additionally. Since 1990 the cloister has been engaged in charitable and social activities, therefore it is compelled to employ numerous personnel (doctors, nurses, teachers,etc.) whose work must be paid for on a monthly basis. Moreover, the Holy Trinity church is being built on the premises of the cloister. All this involves substantial expenditure.
